Bianca is the Founding Partner of SMA and leads the Corporate and M&A departments.
Bianca is the Founding Partner of SMA and leads the Corporate and M&A departments. With over 16 years of experience at the intersection of Public and Private Law, she has built a distinguished career in the Mozambican legal sector, complemented by a solid international trajectory.
She holds a Postgraduate degree in Energy Law from the Faculty of Law of the Universidade Católica de Portugal and a Minor in International Relations from the Faculty of Social and Human Sciences (Universidade Nova de Lisboa).
Prior to founding SMA, Bianca served as a legal consultant for an Oil & Gas multinational in Milan (Italy) and as a legal consultant in Johannesburg (South Africa) for projects developed in Mozambique, focusing on high-impact structural projects. This global perspective allows her to provide strategic counsel to domestic and multinational clients in complex sectors such as Corporate, Banking, Tax, Oil & Gas, and Mineral Resources.
She earned her Law Degree from Universidade Nova de Lisboa, Portugal. Bianca is an accredited Industrial Property Agent (IPI) and a Member of the Mozambique Bar Association.
Fluent in Portuguese, English, and Italian.
